Swapfiets is among the top 10 fastest growing companies in Europe by the Financial Times Ranking (FT 1000 — Europe’s Fastest Growing Companies 2021). The Dutch company which is among the first globally to apply the "bicycle as a service" concept, now also offer its subscription model for bicycles and e-bikes in Austria.

STADLER VÖLKEL advised Swapfiets on all legal aspects in relation to its expansion to Austria, in particular in the fields corporate law, IP/IT, data protection and related topics.

About Swapfiets

Swapfiets was founded in 2014 in the Netherlands and quickly evolved as one of the leading bicycle mobility service providers. Following expansions to Germany, France, Denmark, Belgium, Italy and the UK, Swapfiets now also entered the Austrian market.
