Hate on the Internet is almost as old as the Internet itself. Anyone can become the target of insults, incitements and threats on social media. The Austrian government recently introduced a new legislative framework against hate on the Internet.

This alone would be enough to be the subject of our rooftop.talk on Wednesday, 16 September 2020, at 5:30 p.m. However, because the trial of "Bierwirt vs. Sigrid Maurer" resumed last week, we will also focus on this topical and interesting case.
