Happy Birthday, MiCA! After a long struggle, the European regulation on Markets in Crypto Assets – MiCA for short – was published in the journal of the European Union today, June 9, 2023. MiCA will be generally applicable from December 30, 2024.
The rules on asset-referenced tokens and e-money tokens will apply a little earlier from June 30, 2024. We are excited about this milestone for the crypto industry!
