On 20 January 2021, the e-Talk "Language, Law and New Technologies" will take place. Speakers are Daniel Leisser (Center for Teacher Education), Markus Pluschkovits (Institute for Translation Studies) and Christian Piska (Institute for Constitutional and Administrative Law, Of Counsel at STADLER VÖLKEL) from the University of Vienna.

Is law always behind technology, and can it ever be up-to-date? How are Big Data, Industry 4.0, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics changing our society? What are the implications of automation and digitalization for future generations, and (how) should legislators deal with these challenges? These and many other questions will be discussed at this exciting talk. We are looking forward to it!
