The 2. Blockchain Summit was a great success! The event took place at the Vienna University of Economics and Business on 5 December 2017 and was organized by the Federal Ministry of Science and Research.
In nine separate workshops, the opportunities and risks of various sectors of the blockchain technology were discussed and pilot projects were presented and planned. Over 500 guests and speakers attended the event, among them Natalie Enzinger (Enzinger Steuerberatung) and Arthur Stadler who led the workshop "Cryptocurrencies and Taxes", as well as Christian Piska and Oliver Völkel who led the workshop on "Cryptocurrencies and Law". Julia Heinisch (Stadler Völkel Attorneys at Law) presented some of the workshop results.
